Some employers may look for experience or qualifications in business and administration as well as some management experience, or qualifications at a level 3 or 4.

Level 3 Buisness Finance (8990)

Business or F&I managers usually work on average 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday but, depending on your employer, this could include some Saturday work.

There may be opportunities for shift and overtime pay depending on your employer. You may also be eligible for holiday entitlement, company pension and private healthcare schemes.

You may be able to work in a supportive role, in a trainee position, until you are ready and have the skills and knowledge to carry out the full job function.
Vehicle Sales (Advanced- Senior Sales Adviser) As an apprentice, you’ll gain a broad range of skills used in a sales environment. You’ll learn how to identify a customer’s needs and interests; advise customers; promote the features and benefits of vehicles; appraise vehicles; and negotiate difficult sales. You’ll also learn how and when to make a successful compromise.
Business and Administration (Advanced- Administration Officer / Executive / Administration Team Leader / Office Supervisor) (Higher Apprenticeship - Office Manager / Administration Team Leader) As a business and administration apprentice, your exact duties will depend on your employer. It’s likely that you’ll be working with a team or member of staff to handle various tasks. You may be typing up board meeting documents, putting financial information together in spreadsheets, sending the daily post, or faxing and photocopying confidential documents. This sort of work requires a strong sense of responsibility, accuracy and attention to detail.
